When a customer is concerned about a Low Response, be sure to look over their campaign and ask these questions to see if you can help!
- Look over ESB products to see if there were any calls on CT, QR scans, etc
- Look over mailing schedule to ensure minimum requirements for mailing were met
- Look over the postcard to ensure the 12 Elements are there
- Review the list and specs to ensure it matches the card design and the target market makes sense
- Questions:
- How are you tracking your responses? (If they don’t have tracking with us, if they do, check their tracking for them)
- How many responses did you receive? Was it none, or just not as much as you were expecting?
- If they received a few responses- what happened with the responses you received?
- What is the Lifetime Value of a client? (Average Value Order X Purchase Frequency X Customer Lifespan)
Bonus Questions:
- What was the overall goal of this marketing campaign?
- How long have you been in business and how long have you been actively marketing?
- How much competition do you have in your market area?
- Have you done direct mail marketing in the past? (check for previous jobs/campaigns with us before asking)
